Aurora Analyst and Investor Day

Client: Aurora
Year: 2022
Location: Palmer, TX
Studio: ADVOC8

Aurora, a developer of self-driving technology for cars and trucks, approached my team to design an Analyst and Investor Day. With over $2 billion in funding already raised, Aurora was looking to increase that amount by reporting on the health and overall direction of the company.

We executed our future-forward event at one of Aurora’s main trucking hubs in Palmer, Texas. At the South Dallas Terminal, we brought Aurora’s test lab to life with a space to transcend our guests’ experience. We carefully curated the day with presentations from executives, endorsements from third-party partners, a visual diagram of progress made to date, and a detailed timeline for the future. But this wasn’t just about seeing vehicles and technology on display. After the presentations were over, attendees were able to jump inside an Aurora semi-truck and experience the company’s autonomous vehicle technology first-hand for themselves.

26 analysts traveled in to see the investor day and experience demo rides, with an additional 1,500 people engaging remotely.

My Role

With direction from creative leadership, I ideated and designed the overall graphic look-and-feel of this event. I created mood boards, produced event-specific brand guidelines, and drafted elevations of the space. Graphic outputs included various small-format print collateral, signage and wayfinding, large-scale wall graphics, and digital graphics.
